A Commitment to our Community

In the Community

Just as Draper and Kramer has been dedicated to building communities, we are equally dedicated to supporting those communities both as a corporate sponsor of local and national charities and non-profit organizations, like the March of Dimes, and as participants and volunteers in philanthropic events, such as the American Lung Association’s “Hustle up the Hancock”.

March of Dimes

March of DimesThe employees and residents of D & K Living set out each year to work together with the objective of raising money to help prevent premature births and care for those families who experience premature birth. Through the hard work of our employees and residents, we raised almost $20,000 in 2011.

The money raised by D & K Living goes directly to the March for Babies. Since the inception of the March for Dimes, infant mortality rates for premature babies has dropped off significantly in many cases due to the work of the organization. By attracting awareness to the cause, the organization also gives hope to families who are devastated by the emotional and financial cost of early births.
